Bio
Elias Valverde II is a Poynter-Koch photography fellow at the Dallas Morning News. He is an alumnus of UT-Arlington, where he studied photography and spent three years at the student newspaper, The Shorthorn. He was born in New Mexico and grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas. He enjoys cycling and traveling to state parks during his downtime. He also loves spending time with his dog, Pepper.
